Policy

1 Click Recruit Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the 1 Click Recruit platform at www.1crecruit.com ("Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Our Platform serves high school athletes, many of whom are under 18 years old. We take the privacy of minors seriously and have designed our data practices accordingly.

Children under 13: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information immediately. If you believe your child under 13 has created an account, contact us immediately at support@1crecruit.com.

Athletes ages 13–17: We require verified parental or guardian consent before an athlete's profile becomes active. Parents and guardians may review, request changes to, or request deletion of their athlete's data at any time by contacting us at support@1crecruit.com.

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: Name, email address, username, password, and role (athlete or coach)
• Athlete profile data: Graduation year, height, weight, GPA, city, state, sport, position, stats, achievements, school name, jersey number, birthdate
• Coach profile data: School name, city, state, division, conference, sport, title
• Photos and media: Profile photos, action shots, headshots, and team logos you upload
• Social media links: X/Twitter, Instagram, Hudl, and YouTube URLs you choose to provide
• Parent/guardian information: Name, email address, and phone number provided during the consent process
• Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number or payment credentials on our servers.
• Communications: Any messages you send to our support team

Information we collect automatically:

• QR and NFC scan activity: When your code is scanned, we log the time and may log the scanning user if they are logged in
• Profile view counts: We track how many times your profile has been viewed
• Device and usage data: Basic information such as browser type and pages visited, collected through Cloudflare's infrastructure

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your athlete profile to college coaches
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails through Resend, including account confirmations, parental consent requests, and photo upload notifications
• Send marketing emails about platform updates, new features, and relevant recruiting information — you may opt out at any time
• Respond to your support requests
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Standards
• Improve and maintain the Platform

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

If you create an account, we may send you emails about:

• Platform updates and new features
• Recruiting tips and resources
• Promotions or offers related to your subscription

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us at support@1crecruit.com. You will continue to receive transactional emails necessary to operate your account even if you opt out of marketing.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

With service providers who help us operate the Platform:

• Supabase — database hosting and file storage (servers located in the United States)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery
• Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security

Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.

With college coaches using the Platform: Your public athlete profile — including your name, photos, stats, sport, position, school, and any social media links you have provided — is visible to coach accounts on the Platform. This is the core purpose of the service and what you are consenting to by creating a public profile.

As required by law: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to report illegal activity including content that exploits minors.

When your profile is set to public and your subscription is active, the following information is visible to coaches on the Platform:

• Name, photo, sport, position, school, graduation year
• Height, weight, GPA, city and state
• Stats and achievements
• Social media links you have chosen to provide
• Verified stat badges (if applicable)

You can set your profile to private at any time through your account settings, which will hide it from coaches. Your data is retained on our servers even when your profile is private or your subscription is inactive.

Photos you upload are stored in Supabase Storage and are publicly accessible via a direct URL when your profile is public. You should be aware that:

• Public photos may be cached or viewed by search engines or other web services
• Setting your profile to private does not guarantee immediate removal from all caches

For athletes under 18, a notification email is sent to the parent or guardian on file each time a new photo is uploaded. Parents may request removal of any photo by contacting support@1crecruit.com.

Your QR code and NFC band link directly to your public profile. When someone scans your code:

• The scan event may be logged in our system
• If the person scanning is a logged-in coach, their identity may be recorded
• You may be able to view scan activity in your account dashboard

You are responsible for the physical security of your QR code and NFC band. We are not responsible for scans that occur due to loss or misuse of your device.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• Your profile and photos will be removed from public view within a reasonable time
• Some data may be retained for legal, financial, or fraud prevention purposes for up to 7 years
• Stripe may retain payment records in accordance with their own retention policies
• Parental consent records will be retained for the duration required by applicable law

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Platform
• Row-level security policies in our database
• Secure third-party payment processing through Stripe
• Access controls limiting who on our team can access user data

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@1crecruit.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Parents and guardians may exercise these rights on behalf of their minor athlete at any time.

We currently do not use cookies or third-party tracking tools beyond what is standard in Cloudflare's infrastructure for security and performance purposes. If we introduce analytics tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify users.

Athlete profiles may contain links to third-party platforms such as X/Twitter, Instagram, Hudl, and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email and post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Levy County, Florida.
